The Fraser Coast Health Conference will inspire delegates about the full scope of medical careers on the Coast and the incredible opportunities that come with working in regional communities. With both medical and nursing streams, delegates will be empowered by what they learn from keynote speakers, panels of experts, breakout sessions and exhibitors. This event is designed to empower, inspire and educate.

Your registration includes:

1.5 day conference with both medical and nursing streams including catering 
Opportunity to learn from Trade Exhibitors and amazing speakers
Optional return coach transfers from Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast to Hervey Bay (subject to availability, 60 seats available)

Friday 24th of February:
 - Times TBA: Coach transfer from Gold Coast, Brisbane & Sunshine Coast to Hervey Bay (times and locations to be advised) - Cost Complimentary

Saturday 25th of February:
 - 9am till 5pm: Full Day Conference
 - 530pm till approximately 730pm: Saturday Social Function at Aquavue includes 1 hour of beach activities: platters, water, soft drink and water sports including Jet Ski's, Single and Double Kayaks, SUP and Beach Volleyball then BBQ dinner at 630pm thanks to sponsor MIPS. Please note alcoholic drinks will be provided at the BBQ dinner, they are not allowed on the beach with water sports.

Sunday 26th of February: 
 - 920am till 12:45pm: Half Day Conference
 - 1245pm Coach transfers to one of two locations
 - 1pm till 4pm: Fun Sunday Social activity sponsored by Hervey Bay Surgical Hospital 
Two options: Complimentary pub lunch at the Beach House Hotel to the value of $30 OR pay $30 to go on the Brilliant Fraser Getaway cruise, 3hr tour from Hervey Bay along the West coast of stunning, World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and swim in the dolphin boom-net (maximum 50 guests), normally $60pp for more information click here.

Sponsored Delegates: 
We understand junior doctors, nursing and medical students have minimal income in the earlier years of their career. Therefore we have asked our exhibitors and local Fraser Coast organisations if they can assist by sponsoring a delegate there to experience what the Fraser Coast has to offer.

Fraser Coast Regional Council and The University of Queensland are sponsoring 50 junior doctors, medical and nursing students to attend the Fraser Coast Health conference. This includes your 1.5 day conference, all catering over 1.5 days, Saturday night social function with water sports and coach transfers from Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine coast return. Value is $450pp.

Ts & Cs If you are lucky enough to receive complimentary registration please note:

- No Shows will incur a $150 cancellation fee.

- If you can no longer attend less than 7 days before the conference you will incur a $150 cancellation fee, (delegates with Covid-19 will not be charged).

- If you can no longer attend more than 1 week before the conference no fee will be charged

- If you can no longer attend and find a replacement medical or nursing student or junior doctor to attend, no fee will be charged

- Please note accommodation not included, check our conference website for suggestions

-  If you register but later find out you are rostered at your workplace on these dates contact registrations@amaq.com.au to cancel your registration at no cost (try to do this 1 week or more before the conference).
